Hey Randy, not sure if you've explained this anywhere, but I'm curious as to how you made these vocal files. I've been contemplating trying to do this for a few songs on RB2 (ie: Tangled up in Blue, Shackler's Revenge, Rob the Prez-o-dent, etc). Any info/links/pointers is appreciated, thanks,
I haven't explained it anywhere but I make them in Reaper similar to how I make the drum files but instead of playing them through an adapter I assign a synthesizer to the notes and export it as an audio file. How many songs from RB2 do you need?
Thanks for the quick response. I really only "need" the three songs listed above -- they're the ones giving me the most trouble. If you're taking requests these aren't too important or pressing. I was more curious than anything if anyone (someone like myself) could make these files with some spare time and a computer. I haven't used Reaper at all aside from playing some of your midi files, but it is something I've been meaning to play around with.
I recently got back into finishing guitar hero games and would really love if you could make a vocal file for TtFaF in Smash Hits to make it easier to get the all careers on expert achievement.
If you could make a tutorial on how to make the vocal files, I could work on it (and maybe other songs) and share with everyone else.

ReplyDeleteIf you're asking for vocal achievement suggestions, I've got a several. Specifically:
ReplyDelete- Rock Band 3 the "Hit all triple awesomes in Bohemian Rhapsody"
- Beatles:Rock Band has two tough achivements for Double Fab and Triple Fab in all songs with those parts.
You can find the triple awesome as videos elsewhere. It requires two devices to play two different videos back.
